Taiwan Day 2!

Hello I'm back! For another post on Taiwannnnn hehe.

On day 2, we woke up early for a whole day of fun! Woke up at about 8am in the morning despite sleeping late the previous night hahaha. Prepared and headed down to the cafe for our buffet breakfast!

This was what I had!

After breakfast, we headed to the lobby to wait for the rest. Jinyuan and Jiajing went out to get other food like Ah Chung Mian Xian.
while waiting, I camwhored HAHAHA

Then we left the hotel and gathered at the entrance to discuss our plans and check the map and stuff.

Was on my phone even overseas hahaha because I was the only one with data.

The phone shops in Taiwan don't sell sim cards to people below the age of 20 and since every one else had roaming(for calling) except me and because we only had one person who was old enough to apply, they let me have the sim card hehe. And I was the walking wifi for everyone HAHA which means there were portable charger privileges.

We walked to the train station after all the discussions and bought easycards for use throughout the trip. It acted like the ezlink card we have in Singapore and it cost about SGD$20 I think? And I never topped up after. Can be used on buses as well as trains. Cheaper than cabbing for sure.

After everyone was done with getting their cards hehe.

Shared seats with Jasmine and Sandra whilst heading to our destination.

Camwhore on the train hehe.

their "Lrt" look alike train. We changed train lines to get to this train.

hehe the typical sera face.
Camwhore when we're walking.

Panda art hehe

had no idea why we did the same pose at the same time HAHAHA

CAN YOU GUESS WHERE WE WERE HEADED TOOOOOO?
We were going to MAO KONG! We took this super long cable car ride A.K.A the Maokong Gondola all the way to the top. It was super long with turns and could have taken like 30 mins? But it was cooling and scenic. I like cable car ridessssss. We took the glass case cabin and it didn't cost extra hehe. We just had to wait. The frequency is about 2 normal cabins to 1 glass case cabin. But some of them were consecutive so it depends on luck.

While waiting for them to help us get tickets!

How the tickets looked like hehe so cuteeeee. Formal shot.

Fun shot.

DFC x Taipei

Lets
Go!

To the 2nd floor and get ice cream! LOL

ummhmmmm~

game face on

shiok hor?

LOL my minion & I, despite the size HAHAHA

"Share leh!"
:P

BROMANCE

LOL I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!

The start of the journey up.

While queueing for the glass cabin up!

They got in first.

Ours! (To tell if it was the glass cabin, they printed the "Eyes of Maokong Gondola" at the side.

Getting in.

LOL

With my baby!

Looks like a painting or drawing right! But it's real life!

So happy ah?

Then I look so buey song. LOL I wasn't ok! It was just coincidental LOL.

Then you see this friend of mine, Yan Hao, He wore stockings with his shorts. He's straighter than rebonded hair but he is just very melodramatic and he likes the flamboyant style. Win ready lor.

Wish it was a little less clearer but if you were there, you'd be mesmerized by the view already be it in this condition or not. So happy lor and it was such a nice day with nice weather.

Looks like the Mt. Akina (Qiu Ming Shan) of Initial D right!

Reach ready!

The tea eggs there are damn good!

Reach ready eat again. HAHAHA

WINTERMELON TEA!

All so serious.....

And there's me.

Always camera ready one!

Always eating! (Observe from this picture onwards that my mouth and hands are always synchronized)

Then we walked around and found cherry blossoms!!!

Photobomb lol (still eating)

sun so bright but it wasn't hot at all lor. The best kind of weather we could ever ask for. With the pretty cherry blossoms behind hehe.

LOL so fierce ah JM!

Jasmine more fierce HAHA (This is not real life ok? Just for picture sake HAHA)

Eat again.

HAHA

Give me one packet of food and I am automatically occupied for the rest of the time.

HEHEHEHEHE

Then when we were done with exploring the area, we came across this tea house and we went in to have some! The bf has been looking for tea leaves the whole trip and we finally found one. Having tea on the top of a mountain and with such a cooling climate is one of the simple pleasures in life. The girls and boys sat in different tables lol. Each table had to order one pot in order to stay in the premise, sort of like a club ah? Have to open bottle then get table HAHA.

How the place sort of looks like.

The silhouette of us girls hehe.

JM being all pro, preparing the tea.
pour the little teapot

short and stout
into the little teacup.

Cheers ;)

This is the garden we have to walk past to get to the little teahouse. So nice and quaint right! And it was time to head back down.

Then because we took the glass bottom gondola up, we took the normal one down. The glass bottom one only allows 4 passengers per gondola but the normal one allows 6 haha so Malin and Theng Tat joined us! There are no extra charges to take the glass bottom ones but due to lesser frequencies, you have to wait longer for the glass bottom ones.
zzzzzz
ZZZ

Then we were back on the normal ground, and they bought another round of ice cream. LOL and Kenneth dropped his ice cream on the floor and made us laugh HAHAH. Refer to the next few pictures to find out why HAHAHA.
ooohhhh
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Then we went to take the train to 五分埔 for some shoppingggggg!
When we reached the train station they sold this super nice cuttlefish snack and you can tell what happened hahaha I started eating again...

8)

LOL
Once we arrived, we split up again LOL to get our own stuff. And I handed my camera to Yan Hao for safekeeping.

My boy was also eating HAHAHA.

And they went to have 卤肉反 without us.... HOW CAN?!?!?!

Their meal!

Looks so nice hor? They all enjoyed it! But I didn't like the taste though... LOL perhaps its because I'm weird but to each their own? HAHA I had one bowl on my own though.
Whilst walking to meet us hehe

Asking for permission from me to go out with the boys at night.

Then pause to pose for a pic LOL
They had really cute dogs at different shops and they sort of attracted me to some of the shops hahaha!

Then the boys left and we went to have Formosa Chang too!

My bowl!

Our meal!

Then straight away after having our food, we walked around a little while more and headed back to the hotel and gathered in Jasmine's room because they got the biggest room for us to do gatherings haha. Their bath tub's tap looked like a big phone and was so pretty so we took photos together there and chit chatted until the boys came home.

So pretty right!

HAHA ✌

“大家好,我们是lulu"

Then we all squeezed innnnn for a group shot!

And this marks the end of day 2! Its such a long post again HAHAHA!
Hope you had as much fun reading as I did typing it. Brought back so many memoriesssssss...
Stay tuned for day 3,4 and 5!
